What’s your name, age and placement site?

I’m Tai Rush, 21 years old, and my placement is at Your Move MKE

Could you briefly describe what project(s) you have been working on at your placement? 

I’ve focused on community engagement efforts, including initiatives involving the police.

What decisions have you made so far at your placement org? What ideas or suggestions have you contributed to that influenced how something was done? 

I helped out with the “Remix” suggestion box and offered some ideas.

In what ways has your placement changed how you see yourself as a leader? 

It made me consider what things and self-ideations I might need to sacrifice for the greater good, like when I interviewed some police staff.

How would you describe your overall AYC and placement experience? 

I like my placement pretty well, and it’s fun seeing how well this organization engages its youth.
