Milwaukee Succeeds Welcomes Trinity Fellow Francisco Hernandez-Flores
Milwaukee Succeeds is excited to welcome Francisco Hernandez-Flores as our new data coordinator, beginning September 2. Francisco joins us through the Trinity Fellows Program at Marquette University, which is dedicated to developing urban leaders with a commitment to social and economic justice.
Working alongside the other two members of our data and research team – Kristin Kappelman and Samantha Reynoso – Francisco will help turn data into action. As our data coordinator, he’ll help craft impactful reports and analyses that will guide our community-driven work. He’ll also lend his talents to ensure the findings are accurate, accessible and easy to understand. Over time, Francisco will gain hands-on experience in facilitation, evaluation, data visualization and research design.
“Having a fellow join us as a data coordinator means we can pair meaningful analysis with meaningful impact – and we’re excited to learn and grow together,” said Kristin Kappelman, Milwaukee Succeeds’ director of research.
Francisco brings a strong background in education, with six years of experience in the college access and completion field. A Milwaukee native, he earned his undergraduate degree from Marquette University and is eager to apply his skills to advancing educational equity in his hometown.
Outside of work, Francisco enjoys gardening, grilling for his family, rooting for Wisconsin sports teams – especially the Brewers – and spending time with his 2-year-old son.
Please join us in welcoming Francisco to the Milwaukee Succeeds team!
